# IDJÉ

> Independent Brazilian research lab in algorithmic auditing, governance and alignment of artificial intelligence. IDJÉ produces audits of commercial AI models, develops public benchmarks and participates in the formulation of public policies for the Brazilian AI ecosystem.

## About

IDJÉ ("Idjé" means "to find" in Kipeá, language of the Kiriri people of Bahia) is a lab focused on mitigating the threats of frontier AI through technical research, independent auditing and advocacy. It works across research and auditing, benchmarks and indices, and public policy.

## Projects

IDJÉ publishes independent audits and public metrics to evaluate transparency, risk and bias of AI models in the Brazilian context.
